WELCOME POINT

The Municipal Institution’s Welcome Points, spaces dedicated to hospitality and tourist information, will be reopened starting April 21st. They are designed to offer a high-quality service fully integrated with the local hospitality system.

The Welcome Points are strategically positioned to enhance the tourist experience, providing visitors with up-to-date information on itineraries, events, experiences, services, and the area’s main attractions. Particularly important is the synergy with local tourism operators and the Maratea Pro-Loco, a key element in ensuring coordinated promotion consistent with the city’s objectives.

“With this initiative,” stated Tourism Councilor Gambardella, “we are strengthening the quality of hospitality and consolidating a model of stable collaboration between institutions, industry operators, and the Pro-Loco. The Welcome Point represents an important operational tool for jointly enhancing the tourism offering and making the promotion of our destination increasingly effective.”

“The service will be provided by qualified personnel with language skills and up-to-date information tools, including digital formats, to support orientation and discovery of the area,” the Councilor concluded.

The Municipal Administration thus confirms its commitment to tourism development based on a focus on hospitality, innovation, and cooperation among all stakeholders in the local supply chain.
